Problem Statement

When joining MCE, a previous designer had created a lot of screens but with inconsistencies. Making updates became difficult. Flows looked different and disjointed with no clear heirachy with colour, text and components creating a bad user experience and frustrating hand off with devs. Designs were also not accesible.

Approach & Strategy

The devs at MCE were building upon tailwind so the best option for a quick turn around design system was flowbite. I bought the flowbite design system into the MCE team and rebranded the system using MCE core, fonts and brand. We then published the system and started rolling it out across the team onboarding them and keeping them updated with a change log. This was then rolled for use in flows and for use with AI so fast prototyping all looked the same.
